Independence Day of India is observed on August 15 every year. It marks the end of British colonial rule and the birth of a sovereign nation in 1947. This day is a tribute to the freedom fighters who laid down their lives and fought tirelessly for our country’s independence.
How could Tech9ites refrain from celebrating this significant moment in India’s history? The office was adorned in the colors of the Indian flag, setting the stage for a day filled with pride and unity. As we entered the premises, we were greeted by the sight of tricolored doves, balloons, and kites, all soaring high and rejuvenating our sense of freedom! The waving Indian flag on the office ceiling commanded everyone’s attention. Overall, the office was lit up with the tricolored theme raising the bar of patriotism.
Setting the Patriotic Vibes…
The Tech9ites arrived, proudly sporting their vibrant orange, white, and green attire as per the Independence Day theme. The day started with group photos resembling the tri colors of the Indian flag and Ankir Sir, our CEO represented the Ashok Chakra (blue color). The vibrant colors and the team’s enthusiasm created an energetic and festive atmosphere, setting the tone for a memorable day ahead.
Time to Follow Instructions– But Here’s a Twist!
We were all then asked to form a line. Suddenly Ankit sir introduced us to a mind-challenging game. It involved listening to the instructor as soon as the music stopped and moving opposite to his instruction, either left or right, front or back. It was a hilarious sight to see everyone trying to follow the confusing directions!
Get Your Change– It’s Tambola Time
Tech9ites had a terrific time playing the tambola. We gathered around with our tambola tickets and markers, eagerly waiting for the numbers to be called out. The amount we paid for the tickets was at stake and everyone wanted their base amount back. The excitement level kept on going crazy as each number was announced. The joy of being one number away from winning, the friendly competition, and the bliss of yelling “Housefull” made the game incredibly enjoyable.
Time to E.A.T (Enjoy, Ally, and Tale)
Our Independence Day celebrations concluded with a delightful pizza party! Tech9ites enjoyed quality time with their colleagues while enjoying tasty pizza. It was a great way to bond and relax after a day filled with patriotic festivities. The soothing music added to the festive ambiance, and everyone had a fantastic time. I’m looking forward to more such lively celebrations in the future!
